Proverbs 20:22 says Don’t say ‘I will get even for this wrong.’ Wait for the Lord to handle the matter.
Wait for God to justify you. Don’t avenge yourself of any wrong. You will miss your way if you do this.
The reason you shouldn’t plan to avenge any wrong done to you is because God is the Avenger. Romans 12:19 says, ‘Vengeance is mine says the Lord’
There cannot be two presidents in a country. One of them will be accused of treason. Anytime you choose to avenge yourself you put yourself in the position of God and God doesn’t tolerate rivals.
Message of the week
Mephibosheth was the grandson of a man who did his best to kill David.
Jonathan was a dear friend to David, who still chose to affiliate with his wicked father that sought to kill David.
Yet, David overlooked this and showed kindness to Jonathan’s son and Saul’s grandson
Kindness sometimes can make you look like you are weak, or you have amnesia and have forgotten the bad things people you are kind to did to you.
Kindness is not weakness, kindness is not amnesia, kindness is the nature of God, kindness is strength.
The world would be a better place if we showed kindness particularly to those that were not kind to us at one point or another.
Kindness is a seed. The kinder you are to people, the more you and generations after you reap the harvest of kindness.
Be kind. When you are kind, you and your family will reap multiple harvests of kindness. I pray that you have a great week. God bless you.
