Week 37 – Word and Message of The Week

Word of the week

Humble yourself

God is saying, ‘I like it when my children humble themselves.’ You are nothing. When you humble yourself and acknowledge that you are nothing, then God will lift you higher. 1 Peter 5:6 says, ‘Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.’

Message of the week

Keep your cool

Control your temper, for anger labels you a fool’. Ecclesiastes 7:9 NLT

One of the ways the devil gets people particularly children of God is to get them to lose their cool. For example Moses at the waters of strife in Meribah. You will find this story in Numbers 20.

If you can keep your cool and peace, you will gain victory, keep your victory and continually walk in victory.

To the world, you will seem weak but you will be victorious continually.

Elisha kept his cool though he was being provoked by the sons of the prophet when Elijah was departing. You will find this story in 2 Kings 2. Elisha gained and kept the victory.

Don’t lose your cool. Avoid shouting and temper displays. Avoid anger and snapping at people. God is manifested in peace. Jesus is the Prince of peace.

Finally, IF YOU LOSE IT, YOU WILL LOSE IT.

When the world wants to describe anger, they will say they lost it. If you lose it, you will lose a lot.
