Week 10-2022- Word and Message of The Week

Word of the week

Unending grace

Psalm 129:1-2 NLT

“From my earliest youth my enemies have persecuted me. Let all Israel repeat this: From my earliest youth my enemies have persecuted me, but they have never defeated me.”

Sometimes it feels like persecution and life’s trials are unending.

As you are coming out of one trouble, another trouble shows up! For many people, the troubles and persecutions started from their childhood. Some people have experienced so much trauma that it will take God to heal them.

Don’t be discouraged! As the problems seem unending, I want you to know that the grace of God is also unending.

The troubles of life are meant to elevate you.

Psalm 27:5-6 NLT says

For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock. Then I will hold my head high above my enemies who surround me. At his sanctuary I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy, singing and praising the Lord with music.

So, let me summarise what God has promised to do when you are in trouble:

  1. He will conceal you. That’s why you can’t afford to desert God in trouble. Because He is the One to hide you from your enemies.
  2. God will hide you in His sanctuary. You can’t afford to desert the church when in trouble. The church is your place of refuge.
  3. God will place you out of the reach of your enemies. God know the extent of the power of your enemies. He will place you above it.
  4. Your head will be lifted above your enemies. Anyone that plots against you, anyone that plots your downfall will always be beneath you.

The more trials abound, the more the grace of God will continually abound.

May God endow you and I with the grace that swallows up the trials of life in Jesus Name.

Have a blessed and pleasant week

in Jesus Name

Message of the week

One good turn deserves another

2 Chronicles 11:1 AMPC

“AND WHEN Rehoboam came to Jerusalem, he assembled of the house of Judah and Benjamin 180,000 chosen warriors to fight against [the ten rebellious tribes of] Israel to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.

The children of Israel had a problem with the grandson of David and 10 tribes of Israel seceded as a result of this

However, Benjamin stayed with Judah, David’s tribe despite the secession of the other tribes.

You’ve probably been wondering why? I believe I now know why?

Way way back in Egypt when Joseph wanted to confiscate Benjamin, it was Judah that stood surety for him.

If someone has been good to you in the past, when you have an opportunity, do good to them

Even if they have now turned bad after being good to you in the past, refuse to turn against them.

No matter what; always refuse to be a traitor

David, the biblical king of Israel refused to hurt Saul.

The relationship between David and Saul was good until it turned very bad on the side of Saul.

However, David refused to retaliate against Saul.

David refused to revenge

Don’t be a traitor to anyone.

Your own time of trials will come.

God will fight for you and give you victory if you have refused to be a traitor.

I did a video a few weeks ago that if you don’t sow it you can’t reap it.

Judah stood surety for his brother Benjamin.

Centuries after, the tribe of his brother Benjamin stood by the tribe of Judah after the tribe had been forsaken by others.

A good deed will always be rewarded. One good turn deserves another.
