Psalm 65:9 NKJV
“You visit the earth and water it, You greatly enrich it; The river of God is full of water; You provide their grain, For so You have prepared it.”
God visits the earth and waters it. He looks at the dry places and supplies water. God doesn’t just enrich the earth. The Scriptures say He GREATLY enriched it.
Be assured that in the same way, God visits your life, family, work, ministry etc to water it and make you grow.
The desire of God is to not just enrich your life but to GREATLY enrich it.
If there is any area of your life where you are not GREATLY enriched (not just enriched but greatly enriched), cry unto God and He will greatly enrich you in Jesus Name.

Psalm 31:18
“Silence their lying lips— those proud and arrogant lips that accuse the godly.”

“Let the lying lips be put to silence; Which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.”
Psalm 31:18 KJV
We are talking about lying lips today. But an extension of lying lips are also lying text messages, lying emails and any other means of communication that take the place of your tongue.
Why must you and I be delivered from lying lips?
- Lying lips discredit you. They achieve this through gossip, backbiting and disclosing your secrets that you told them in your vulnerable moments
- Because lying lips discredit you, they drive away helpers from you.
- Where lying lips are speaking against you, you are in the danger of being silenced. Many people have lost their jobs or they have not been promoted because of lying lips
- Lying lips are poisonous. They will try their best to pollute your life.
- Lying lips say what God is NOT saying. They judge your tomorrow based on your today. Someone did something to me about 18 years ago that deeply wounded me. I was pained on my heart. I was speaking to this guy on the phone and he said something that deeply wounded me. Though the guy wounded me with what he said, God refrained me from speaking harsh words to him. So I said to him: You have only seen my today, you have not seen my tomorrow. I didn’t say more than that. Today I still remember that conversation. I look at how I was then, I look at how I am now and my conclusion is God is good.
Many homes have been broken because of lying lips.
Many destinies have been aborted because of lying lips
Many lives have been devastated because of lying lips.
For lying lips to have credibility, they mix their lies with the truth
I spoke earlier about someone disclosing to others the secrets you confided in them.
Lying lips will take one truth they know about you and mix them with a lot of lies in order to discredit and silence you
But there’s good news for you and me: God says ‘let the lying lips be put to silence’. God hates lying lips. He says in Proverbs 6:17 that He hates a lying tongue.
You can be sure that God will deal with lying lips.
PRAY:
- Father please discredit every lying lips speaking against me in Jesus Name.
- Father please neutralise the poison of every lying lips targeted against my life and destiny.
- Father if these lying lips don’t desist from lying against me, Father please turn the poison of their lips against them in Jesus Name.
