Isaiah 45:2
“‘I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron.”
Isaiah 45:2 NKJV
One of the ways God makes the crooked places straight is when you don’t get the results you should have obtained from life.
Take for example a woman that has many children despite procuring many abortions before becoming a Christian.
Imagine someone else that grew up in the midst of deprivations going on to become prosperous in life. Remember Joseph, a slave that went on to become a prime minister in Egypt.
When you look at yourself and say I wouldn’t have been in this place but for the goodness of God then it means that God has gone ahead of you to make the crooked places straight on your behalf.
I pray that in our lives God will continually make the crooked places straight in Jesus Name.

In the open heavens devotional of 20th November 2021, Daddy GO, Pastor EA Adeboye advised married folks in particular to be careful of evil counsellors.
Not every counsel you receive comes with a good motive
Not every counsel you receive comes from a good person.
The counsel may even come from a good person but it may not be from the Lord.
Don’t suspect people, but at the same time don’t be gullible.
Psalm 1:1 says blessed is the man that doesn’t walk in the counsel of the ungodly.
For years I thought this meant an unbeliever, someone that doesn’t have a relationship with Christ.
But no, the ungodly is someone who supposedly knows God but doesn’t walk in God’s ways.
I wish I didn’t have to say this but there are many ungodly people in the church. You need discernment from God to know who you should relate to in church.
I pray that none of us will fall victim of wicked counsellors in Jesus Name.
